Congratulations Jacob, IDEAS Academy Senior
Sam Priem and Autumn Willard presented their projects titled, “How will I be Treated Today?” at IDEAS Academy Exhibitions of Learning at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center on January 10.
The IDEAS Abstract Thought class is combining art and math to explore the concepts of quadratics, trigonometry, linear equations and permutations. Starting second trimester, the students have been creating big and small works of art to both understand the math concepts and teach the rest of the class.
Do you have some old items in your garage or attic that you’d like to transform? Do you know how a Japanese education compares to one in the United States? Have you ever wondered what prompts someone to become a serial killer? Are you intrigued by domes?
Thirteen teachers from The Mosaic School and IDEAS Academy attended project-based learning training conducted July 18-20 by the Buck Institute of Education.
